Dazzling Fruit Pizza
1 12-inch Mama Mary's Gourmet Pizza Crust 1/4 cup butter 2 tablespoons ground almonds 1 tablespoon sugar 7 oz. almond paste 3 tablespoons whipping cream 1/4 cup apricot preserves 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger assorted fruits: mango, kiwi, banana strawberries, whole red raspberries Preheat oven to 425°F. Place crust on a vented pizza pan or large baking sheet. Melt butter in small saucepan; stir in almonds and sugar. Cook and stir until butter begins to brown; brush over the crust. Bake 5-6 minutes, remove from oven and cool completely. Blend almond paste and cream until smooth. Spread over the cooled crust. In a small saucepan combine preserves and ginger. Stir over low heat until melted. Arrange fruit over almond cream. Brush preserves over fruit. Cut into wedges and serve. Yields 8-10 slices.
